CmapLite is a recommended tool to create conceptual maps in an easy and simple way. You will be able to create all kinds of sketches for work, class or anything else you need to express on paper.

You can create an element with a double click and from there add as many links as you want. You can personalize everything; you can change fonts, colours, line styles, add background images or even add links to images or webpages to complete your sketches.

Furthermore, the program has a large free data base in which you will be able to find lots of maps created by other users, or you can even share yours with the community.
